Drove from Naples to Ft Pierce to visit grandma and take her out to lunch. We arrived around noon on a Friday and it was fairly busy. The weather was dreadful and raining, but the view was still so pretty outside on the water. The heat lamps in the enclosed patio were a very nice touch. Due to a mix up, we were waiting at the table with no service for about 10-15 minutes. I went to the hostess stand to request our waiter, he came over running and apologized. No worries! He was so funny and a great server so we had a great time. We each got something different; club sandwiches, french onion soup, grilled cheese and the fried fish. Everything was fresh, good and came out quickly. Everything that I saw go by looked very good. On a nice hot day I recommend coming here for a drink or dinner. You can literally sit on the dock and have a pub table overlooking the water. Note: This place was hard to find for us! There are no signs at all when you come into the marina, when you come into the marina, go left and drive by the large white buildings with offices on your left (real-estate, yacht sales, etc) and keep driving by, you will notice there is another section of parking and Harborcove is over there! No signs at all, so keep driving!

Very nice place and Don was super friendly. Have the fried shrimp or grouper. Seat on the deck and enjoyed the view.

Great atmosphere, stellar service and delicious food. Gorgeous water views and live music. Save room for the key lime pie!

New owners! Awesome changes! Awesome customer service. My new favorite restaurant in St. Lucie County!

Had a nice dinner here. The mahi mahi was really well prepared. My bf had the shrimp scampi and it was delicious. Service was great, thanks Melony. It was her 3rd working at the Cove and it seemed as she was working there for years. Best part was sitting next to the water.

Truth comes in many forms: afternoon truth and evening truth. Our party of four arrived in the afternoon for an early dinner. Our out of town guests, we knew, enjoy the marina oh look at the boats and maybe a manatee experience, so we headed here. The truth is, we had ample tables to chose from, and the bar had not cranked up the laughter...yet. The food came quickly. The staff remained attentive throughout. I ordered the fish and chips...average. Another ordered the daily special---grouper---and rated it 5 stars based on presentation and taste. Others ordered appetizers only, coconut shrimp, which were large and well done. As the sun set, the truth changed; it became packed and loud! Go early for quiet dining. Go late for Fort Pierce action.

Not sure why the reviews aren't beyond 3 stars...food was great (lunch) and what an amazing view and experience! We are from Miami with a vacation home in Vero...wish we would have found this sooner!

Service was good. Draft beer cheap at $2.75. Nice location. Food is fair, nothing spectacular. I had the tomato and mozzarella salad. The mozzarella could've been fresher and tomatoes were OK. My boyfriend had the grilled fish sandwich - it looked great. Would I return here? Maybe to sit at bar for view and cheap beer but not the food.

I waivered between giving this place 2 stars and 3, but settled on 3 because so much of the negative was based on our server, who was terrible. I think had our service been better, this restaurant would have been fine. The best part about it was the location and the atmosphere. You are literally right on the water, and the restaurant itself seemed pretty nice-very Florida, casual, comfortable, good integration of indoor and outdoor space. We just arrived from the arctic tundra of Cleveland, so even though it was a cool evening, we decided to sit outside. That proved to be a mistake, as we spent a whole lot of time sitting there waiting. And waiting some more. In the interest of full disclosure, we were there at about 7:30, and had not eaten since 8 that morning. We were STARVING. We had to wait a good 15 minutes before we got any service, and after that, another 10 before someone came to take our order. Overall, a meal that should have taken less than an hour took about an hour and a half. All this from a waitress who showed very little interest or concern in helping us. I promise you we are not the high maintenance restaurant customer. My husband was a server for many years and is very sympathetic towards servers, and almost always tips generously. The service was so bad, and with no reason, that he gave her something like 12 percent-which was honestly still too generous. In any event, to sum up my rant, service-bad. The food was...okay. The crab cakes were delicious. They were out of the catch of the day, which was understandable. I got fish and chips, and my husband got the conch sandwich. Overall, our dinners were fine. We both said we were "whelmed." Not overwhelmed, not underwhelmed, just whelmed. I would not say to NOT go to this place, nor would I recommend it. If you need somewhere to eat when the other places are too crowded or closed, this is your spot. If you have another choice, I would probably go with that.

Harbor-cove better known to me as the Fish-house. My hang out - cigars beer margaritas and food, life doesn't get much better than that . Oh yes I forgot the wonderful staff

Good food served in a neat atmosphere on the docks of the marina outside on a beautiful afternoon. The Cove burger was done right, my Grilled Mahi sandwich was excellent and the steak fries were a plus, a chicken salad sandwich was very good and the shrimp po boy was not traditional being on a round roll but was very good shrimp cooked just right. Now let me say their key lime pie was superb....not too sweet or too tart but just right! A nice place to have a relaxing quality lunch with atmosphere.

Key lime pie is homemade and tastes great!!! Came here on our first night in Vero Beach. I loved sitting outside at the marina and seeing all those awesome looking boats. The service was good, they had a singer there as well. I had the fish and chips and had some of my wife's tuna wrap. Both were very good. We will be coming back here again when we are back in Florida. If you check in with your yelp app, you get a free dessert!

I wrote a decent review on Harbor Cove a year ago when I ate there with a friend. My biggest complaint at that time was the smoking all around us. In the last two months or so, my husband and I have been going in for lunch just about every Sunday afternoon. We love it! The smoking, for whatever reason, has not been nearly as prevalent as it was the first few times I ate there. We love the atmosphere, which is casual, relaxed and friendly. The view of the water and the gorgeous boats can not be beat. There always seems to be a comfortable breeze flowing through the patio. Just really beautiful and relaxing. We usually ask for Travis as our server, he does a great job. However, we have had other servers and they have all been very good. Even the bus boy/man who comes around and assists with cleaning tables etc is very friendly and polite! Again, this is based on our Sunday (sometimes Saturday) afternoon lunches, which are pretty laid back. The food has never disappointed us and I can not say that about very many places in town! The fries are always piping hot and the wait is never long. My husband almost always orders the fish of the day sandwich, fried, and he says it is great! I bounce between the prime rib sandwich (when they have it for a special) which is delicious, the fried buffalo chicken sandwich or the burger sliders; they are all fantastic! The draft beers are nice and cold and the price is not outrageous. We thoroughly enjoy our weekend lunches there and really hope that the service, food and atmosphere stay as wonderful as they have been so we can continue our weekly visits!

The owner is a real A$$ho1e. He should not be in a customer oriented business. He actually told someone that if they did not like the way he was talking down to them, they should get the he11 out of his resteraunt. REALLY? is this the way you treat your customers? We had a large group that just spent $400 plus in this place, and he treated one of our members like a piece of crap. Never again will I visit this place.

Wonderful location on the water. Truly a Florida feel restaurant. Shrimp Scampi and Coconut Shrimp were very good. The service was really good and our waitress was great. She took time to explain things and check on us throughout the meal. The views of the marina and Indian River are wonderful from your table. Don't pass up this Florida place.

Best Fish Sandwich I've had in a very long time. Friendly, divey staff too. Found it on a whim, probably would never find it again but well worth thje navigation. If you're a fan of authentic harborside dives, go here. One star off for a wimpy bloody mary.

Stop by every time we're in town. Great drinks and Mahi Reuben! Consistently above the crowd. Good service. Reasonably priced. Nice marina view. Highly recommend this place for a laid back, quality meal and drink. Good rum runners!

I went to this place while on vacation. I met up with an old college buddy and her two girls. It was me, her and our three girls (10 and 11). The waitress was great and the service was amazing. Our girls and my friend got the sliders with fries, it was more than enough. I got the grilled cheese and tomato with fries. Everything was well done and fresh. Dessert - well - was heavenly! My friend had the key lime pie - OMG - perfection. I had the carrot cake - just as perfect. The girls had the brownie sundae which was more than enough for them. The Marina was beautiful and took some great pictures of the sunset!
